Clients rank Allens Arthur Robinson best large Australian professional services firm for second consecutive year
9 March 2006
Allens Arthur Robinson (AAR) was last night again selected as the Best Large Professional Services Firm of the Year and the Best Large Law Firm in the 2006 BRW-St.George Client Choice awards. Adding to its accolades, AAR also won the Best Queensland Professional Services Firm award.
'After last year's overall win in these awards we expected to be marked harder by our clients and it's a highly competitive market, but I think we genuinely worked smarter this year and provided better client service,' said AAR Managing Partner, Tom Poulton.
'Congratulations to all our partners and staff, for these awards really belong to each one of you.'
The BRW-St.George Client Choice awards are considered a credible comparison of Australian professional services organisations, being based on the responses of 10,000 business decision makers providing feedback on 150 firms encompassing all major professional services specialties like law, accounting, engineering, management consulting and others.
'These awards against such talented opposition show the power of not being arrogant, of gathering client feedback on our services and then sitting down to consider how we can provide them better next time,' Mr Poulton said.
'Last year was extremely successful and I have every reason to believe that this year will be better still.
'But we cannot afford to rest. Instead, as individuals and as a firm, we will continue to strive to provide the best in client service as it is in that way that we provide the most stimulating and satisfying work for everyone at the firm, and the brightest of futures.'
AAR was also the inaugural winner of the Best Large Professional Services Firm and Best Large Law Firm of the Year awards in 2005.
In researching the awards, clients complimented AAR partners and staff on their ability to communicate and understand client needs; to call a 'spade a spade', and to give value for money.
In receiving the Best Queensland Firm award, clients said that AAR was efficient and produced high-quality work in a short space of time.
'The Queensland market is competitive. To survive, let alone prosper, we focus on meeting client needs, being commercially savvy and giving the best informed and most ethical advice we can - every day,' said AAR Queensland Practice Director, Ken MacDonald.
